Gerrie Electric Shuffles Senior Leadership Team

Gerrie Electric announced last week changes to their Senior Leadership Team, promoting new people with experience that the company says will be key in their continued success

Ken Cherrett has been promoted to Director of Industrial Sales for the Central region. He took on the role June 2. Cherrett is a long-time Gerrie Electric employer, first joining the company in 1987 after graduating from Mohawk College as a CET. His first role was as Inside Tech which led to Outside Technical Specialist in the Rockwell Automation Group. Later, he became PLC Product Manager and then in 2000 he took over the management of Gerrie’s Rockwell Automation Group. The company said that Cherrett’s “positive, enthusiastic and collaborative personality has made him open to try new strategies that complement our overall vision.” 

The Executive of Gerrie Electric is very excited to continue the roll out of the Senior Leadership Team, the experience of these people will be a key contributing factor to our continued success. 

Peter Postrozny has been promoted to Director of National Accounts, effective June 2nd, 2014. Postrozny has been with Gerrie Electric since 1995 in the role of National Accounts Manager. “With his strategic thinking, leadership and attention to detail he enabled Gerrie to become a driving force in integrated supply with the development of the Gerrie Supply Chain Solutions Group,” the company noted. Postrozny holds a Bachelor of Arts/Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. 

Joe Conciatori has been appointed Director of Contractor Sales in the Central Region. Conciatori is coming most recently from Eaton Canada as Marketing Segment Manager, Industrial and Utility Segments. Before his time with Eaton, Conciatori was District Channel Manager with Rockwell Automation. He has a Electrical Technology Diploma from Conestoga College as well as a MBA from Athabasca University. “With Joe’s experience in the Water/Wastewater industry and his relationship with contractors in the construction business, he will be a key contributing factor to our success in taking Gerrie Electric to the next phase of our development in the Canadian industry,” the company said.
