Swidget Appoints Intralec Electrical Products as Ontario Sales Agent

Swidget Corp. is proud to announce the appointment of Intralec Electrical Products Ltd. as our sales agent representing Swidget in Ontario.

Intralec was started in 1977, by two former ITE employees, Bruce Chamney, and Dave Doherty. 40 years later, they have grown to a full line of quality suppliers, and 28 employees. Intralec operates out of a 17,000 square foot sales office and warehouse in Mississauga. The current principals are Cindy Doherty, Greg Moylett, and John Hadley.

Swidget is a technology company based in Kingston, ON, Canada that aims to simplify the smart home experience. The Swidget system, an embedded smart home device that isn’t limited to any one platform, is expanding to include both an outlet and a switch as the base devices. When paired with the ever-growing suite of Swidget Inserts, the system gives you a simple, minimalist, and modular approach to smart home. Swidget has the ability to function on any platform and the company’s dedication to developing new Inserts regularly makes it “future proof” and compatible with past, present, and future technologies.
