ShawFlex and DSG-Canusa Appoint New Leadership

ShawFlex & DSG-Canusa have made new leadership appointments effective February 2, 2015.

Greg Passler has been appointed Vice-President, QHSE, ShawCor. Greg will be leaving the role of VP & GM, ShawFlex to lead ShawCor Corporate QHSE efforts and refocus ShawCor toward an Incident & Injury Free workplace, full Environmental compliance and a customer-focused Quality system to ensure superior first-time product, field service performance and flawless execution. Greg currently represents ShawCor as a Board member of Electro-Federation Canada.

With Greg’s move to a corporate role, Joe Tabak has been appointed President, Connectivity (ShawFlex & DSG-Canusa). Joe’s focus will be to expand the existing product offering through acquisition and product development programs and continue to grow the anchor operating units.

    Employment declined by 42,000 (-0.2%) in August and the employment rate fell 0.1 percentage points to 60.8%. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 6.4%.
