The Executive of Gerrie Electric Wholesale Limited is very pleased to announce the acquisition of FM Supply, effective April 1, 2022. They will continue to operate as FM Supply and it is business as usual. Gerrie Electric does not anticipate changes in the way they currently do business with their locations in Waterloo and Stratford; they will now however have access to Gerrie’s inventory and a broader range of products and services.

“The team at FM Supply have a great reputation for treating their customers’ business like our business and work together to deliver an outstanding customer experience. When Colin Moore, Chris Watamanuk and I came to the decision to sell, we wanted to ensure that these customer traditions would be continued and supported in the future” says Ron Fields, President FM Supply.

“Gerrie’s Core Purpose is Passionately Helping Customers be More Successful by Delivering Exceptional Experiences.  It is with every confidence that they contacted and selected Gerrie as being the best fit for their customers and strong alignment to values and the customer centric focus” says Heather Gerrie, Co-President & CEO.

Gerrie Electric is one of the largest independent electrical distributors in Ontario, with twenty two branches and two distribution centres throughout south central Ontario and over 400 employees. “The spirit of being a family owned business has played an important part in the success of our company since 1957. We are thrilled to have the FM team as part of the family” says Elaine Gerrie, Co-President & CEO, Gerrie.
