Ascot Capital Group, the parent company of Standard Products Inc., Stanpro Lighting Systems Inc., and Aimlite Corp., has acquired a majority share of LumenTruss.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, LumenTruss is a specialty manufacturer of architectural lighting products active in both Canadian and American markets. Eric Audy is the company’s founder, and he and his team will continue to manage and operate the business as an independent entity. This partnership with Ascot will allow them to accelerate their LumenTruss’ growth through product and market expansion.

David Nathaniel, CEO of Ascot, confirmed that “the acquisition of LumenTruss is strategic in nature and brings us capabilities that complement what our other businesses do today. It is the beginning of our plan to build a larger portfolio of businesses that will allow us to leverage our strengths and to further grow our position in the lighting and electrical industry.”
