Standards Council of Canada Expands Consultation Options

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is expanding its reach to Canadians by leveraging the Government of Canada’s Consulting with Canadians web portal. New and proposed international standardization activities will be regularly updated so that Canadian businesses, government representatives and consumer stakeholders may provide feedback on proposed standards, and comment on how these standards might impact global trade and Canada’s economy. By participating in this way, Canadian business representatives and subject matter experts can be at the very forefront of a standard’s development, while helping to advance the health, safety and economic well-being of all Canadians.
