Product Recall: Philips Energy Saver Compact Dimmable Fluorescents

Philips has identified a safety problem that affects a number of Energy Saver a/k/a Marathon or Marathon Classic Compact Fluorescent dimmable reflector lamps produced between March 2007 and May 2010, and sold from March 2007 through July 2011. The glue attaching the glass outer envelope or globe to the body of the lamp can fail, allowing the glass outer envelope to fall and strike persons and objects below posing a possible laceration hazard to consumers.
