Mark Serafino, OmniCable’s Central Regional Vice President (RVP), has decided to retire effective December 31, 2019. Chris Bjorkman, currently the Director of Market Development, Canada, will serve as the new Central RVP (The central region includes OmniCable’s Toronto, Chicago, Houston, and St. Louis locations) upon Mark’s departure.

Serafino began his career in the electrical industry in 1980 and joined OmniCable in 1987. Serafino served in his current role as Central RVP since 2014 and prior to that held several positions, including Outside Sales and St. Louis Regional Manager. “My years with OmniCable allowed me to grow both professionally and personally. The company has a one-of-a-kind culture that encourages you to be creative and implement new ideas while you grow in your job,” said Serafino. “I will miss all the people at OmniCable, our customers, and vendors who motivated and inspired me to grow as a salesman and manager.”

During his 30 plus years with OmniCable, Serafino was an integral component of the growth and success of the company and played key roles in many aspects of the business operation. “From the day he stepped through the door, Mark was willing and expertly able to assume increasing levels of responsibility and authority while helping shape the culture and philosophies that drive the company today,” said Jeff Siegfried, OmniCable’s CEO & Chairman. “A natural leader and a true champion of the people that work with him, Mark personifies OmniCable’s spirit and heart,” he added.
