Northern Transformer Corporation Sells Minority Stake to Southern States Investment Holding

Northern Transformer plans to use the holding company’s investment to expand its manufacturing capabilities with vapour phase technology to extend its product range to 250 kV and extend its market reach beyond Canada. All proceeds from the transaction will be invested in the company’s infrastructure and operations. 

“The SSIH investment gives us new resources to accelerate our expansion plans and serve our clients with the highest quality power transformers at even higher ratings,” says CEO Alexei Miecznikowski. “We are also looking forward to sharing their deep utility sector experience and broad access to the US and international markets.”
