The partnership between CEMRA and NEMRA is paramount and is vital for the Rep Business between both associations.

Says Jim: “The affiliation between EFC CEMRA and NEMRA not only bolsters the professional network and advocacy for independent representatives but also enriches the overall experience and development of CEMRA representatives.”

Carol McGlogan, EFC President and CEO, provided a high-level summary from EFC encompassing government relations initiatives, talent attraction, business market pulse, and EFC’s Member Portal.

John Richardson, Chair, of CMG, presented the Best Practice documents revealed at EFC’s 2023 Industry Conference and detailed an upcoming training best practice to be presented at EFC’s 2024 Industry Conference in Banff, AB.

In addition, CEMRA’s Person of the Year Award nominations are open, and the submission deadline is March 15th, 2024

Overall, EFC members found CEMRA components of the NEMRA Conference worthwhile and of value. The ever-popular Canada Night Reception allowed for networking between colleagues and the opportunity to make new connections.

Many member companies had a great number of meetings with their manufacturers throughout the conference, both within the modular office setup and with meetings throughout the hotel.
