E.B. Horsman & Son Expanding Into Grande Prairie, Alberta

February 26, 2026

E.B. Horsman & Son is pleased to share that a new branch is opening in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Grande Prairie is a consistently growing market and a key hub within Alberta’s resource sector, making it a strong fit for both the business and its customers. E.B. is targeting August 1, 2026 as a soft opening for the new location, with additional details to be shared as planning is finalized.

The Grande Prairie location will be an optimized format branch designed for efficiency, responsiveness, and long‑term sustainability. It reflects E.B. Horsman & Son’s continued investment in Alberta and strengthens its ability to support local customers and industries.

This expansion enhances EBH’s ability to serve the region by improving local access to inventory, technical expertise, and specialized product lines, ensuring customers have the support and solutions they need close to where they operate.

Tim Horsman, CEO says:
“Grande Prairie represents exactly the kind of community where EB Horsman & Son thrives – entrepreneurial, resourceful, and growth-oriented. For 126 years, we’ve built our business by helping local industries and trades succeed. This branch continues that story. We’re investing for the long term, expanding our Alberta & Midwest network, and bringing the products, technical capability, and dependable service this region deserves. I’m grateful to the customers trusting in us, supplier partners growing with us, and employee owners who have built the foundation that makes this expansion possible.”

Our expansion into Grande Prairie reflects our longterm commitment to Alberta and to the industries that power this region,” said Tyson Carvell, Vice President of Marketing. “We’re bringing a combination of inventory, technical expertise, and product lines that have not previously been available locally, supported by the resources of a 126yearold, Western Canadian independent company.”

Grande Prairie is a key industrial centre, and customers deserve access to the same depth of product and technical capability found in larger markets,” said Steve Crocker, CRO; “With Siemens distribution and a broad PAC offering, we’re introducing solutions that help close longstanding gaps in local availability.”

Our growth in Alberta has always been intentional and longterm,” said Adam Dries, Regional Vice President, Alberta & Midwest. “Opening in Grande Prairie strengthens our regional presence and ensures customers have direct access to inventory, technical support, and supplier lines that are new to this market.”

EB Horsman & Son looks forward to continuing to support Alberta’s industrial community through this expansion.
