Mechanical Electrical Electronic Technology Trade Show Returns to Moncton Next Month

Mechanical Electrical Electronic Technology Show, May 18-19 in Moncton

The MEET Show (Mechanical Electrical Electronic Technology Show), May 18-19, 2016, brings together mechanical and electrical companies from throughout Canada and the U.S., along with the very latest in products and services.

MEET is the second largest industry event of its type in Canada and the largest trade event east of Montreal. Its 2014 edition welcomed more than 6,200 buyers, the show’s highest attendance in over two decades. An even larger crowd is expected for the 2016 show, including contractors, developers, engineers, tradespeople and just about anybody else involved in the industrial, commercial and residential sectors.

The four sponsoring associations — CIPH, Electro-Federation Canada, IES, and ACME — are committed to offering a strong educational component. A thought-provoking and topical seminar series will be offered onsite at the show, free to all show attendees. Industry professionals who attend the MEET Show and take in the seminars can be eligible for informal education credits through their professional associations.

The 2016 edition of MEET will also feature the Skills Canada NB Electrical Installations Competition, showcasing the best post-secondary construction electrician students in the province. This contest will serve as the provincial qualifying for selecting the Team New Brunswick member who will participate at the Skills Canada National Competition taking place for the first time ever in New Brunswick June 5-8, also in Moncton.
