Lumigroup Opens New Showroom Boutique: Le Studio Luminaires

Lumigroup's new public showroom, Le Studio Luminaires

June 6, 2016

LumiGroup, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, has opened a new showroom, specifically for the public, in the heart of Montreal’s Mile End. The new space is adjacent to the company’s corporate office.

In 2010, the Mile End’s St. Viateur East district was found to have the highest concentration of artists, artisans and cultural workers in Canada. Four years later, the company opened its first showroom by appointment only.

Now LumiGroup expands its horizons again to meet the needs of a growing clientele: individual customers, design lovers and enthusiasts, and curious minds passing by in growing numbers; offering them an interesting space and products to discover.

Le Studio Luminaires offers prestigious international brands, such as Flos, Luceplan, Fontana Arte, Humanscale, Moooi, Terzani, Absolux… Each manufacturer is showcased in a sleek, contemporary space where the light attracts the eye. Behind the doors of 5445 de Gaspé, Suite 111, you’ll find both the eternal classics of Luceplan as well as the latest trends by Moooi in a fun and lively environment. A team of experts is on site Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 6:00 to assist customers in their projects. A full online shopping service will also soon be available.

LumiGroup and Le Studio Luminaires’ team regularly travel the world in search of new products and innovations. This is how new lines such as Tom Dixon, Anglepoise, ANDlight and Castor have recently been added to the portfolio of products offered in the boutique. Other high-end quality lines are expected in the coming months.

“Montreal is evolving. Needs are evolving. It is by being attentive to our customers and our environment that we also evolve,” says Jean-Claude Calabro, President of LumiGroup. The company was ranked by Canadian Business and Profit magazines as one of Canada’s 500 Fastest-Growing Companies.
