In May, Sonepar is focused on Health, Safety and Wellness initiatives across Canada. So far, Sonepar Ontario Region’s Health Safety and Environment team has hosted virtual speaking sessions on hazard recognition and prevention, mental health resources and workplace ergonomics. In addition, associates across Canada had the opportunity to attend a virtual meditation and wellness session hosted by Lyette Chartrand, CCP, Director of Credit at Lumen.

    Employment declined by 42,000 (-0.2%) in August and the employment rate fell 0.1 percentage points to 60.8%. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 6.4%.
