Gescan, a Sonepar Company, continues to invest in digital tools and technologies designed to modernize the way electrical contractors work.

The latest milestone in Gescan’s digital journey is the launch of its new and improved mobile app. While just one part of a broader innovation strategy, the app gives users quick, reliable access to essential tools anytime, anywhere.

Gescan launched its initial mobile app in 2019 which allowed contractors to:

  • review real-time pricing and inventory availability,
  • build and save lists of frequently purchased products,
  • and the ability to scan products in-store and self-checkout.

The new version of the mobile app further enhances the user experience with improved search functionality, biometric login, and the ability to request and approve quotes directly from the app.

“We take a customer-first mindset to everything we do, and we will continue to use technology to provide accessible and efficient solutions to our customers,” said Wes Penrose, Director Digital Solutions.

As demand for smarter, more efficient workflows continues to rise, Gescan will continue to invest in the development of digital tools to give contractors, estimators and purchasers a competitive edge in a fast-moving industry. These tools already include EDI, VMI, Punchout, eLink and more.

“The future of the electrical industry is digital. It’s all about helping customers work smarter and faster in a connected world,” said Penrose.

This digital push reflects a broader commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric service. To learn more about Gescan’s digital solutions, visit gescan.com.
