EMC Canada Introduces New Field Service Advisor for Nova Scotia

Susan Elliot, an accomplished operational management specialist, will take over from Glenn Dunford as Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC)’s Field Service Advisor for Nova Scotia. After a 40+ year career in manufacturing, Glenn will be retiring as of August 31, 2018.

Susan is well versed in production requirements and the supporting processes to a successful supply chain. She has received her Six Sigma Green Belt, is Certified to AS9100 Rev C standard in Quality Management, and has received her National Certification in Human Resources by the Association of Nova Scotia.

Susan’s experience includes having worked for Advanced Precision Machining & Fabrication, Simplicity Designs and most recently Add-A-Plan Business Services. With a proven ability to manage change for large-scale improvement projects, Susan has spearheaded the formation of the Nova Scotia Machining Association while founding the Metal Industry working group to provide training and development opportunities for skilled labour workers.
