EHRC Announce Keynote Speakers for Agents of Change 2019

Electricity Human Resources Canada has announced this year’s keynote speakers for Agents of Change 2019, hosted in Toronto on Wednesday November 13, 2019.

First up is Hadiya Roderique: Law graduate, researcher, award-winning speaker and writer, consultant, broadcast commentator, and former podcast host. In 2018, Roderique was named one of Canadian Lawyers’ 25 Most Influential Lawyers, and she was recognized with the Rising Star award from the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers. Roderique will share her personal story as well as her expertise on how race, gender, and parenthood shape perceptions and relationships in the workplace.

Next up we have Michael Kaufman, Ph.D.: award-winning educator and writer focused on engaging men and boys to promote gender equality and end violence against women. He has worked across forty-five countries, working extensively with the United Nations, numerous governments and NGOs. He is the co-founder of the White Ribbon Campaign, the largest effort in the world by men and boys working to end violence against women and girls, promote gender equity, healthy relationships and a new vision of masculinity.
