CACN and IACC Sign Memorandum of Understanding

CACN

The Canadian Anti-counterfeiting Network (CACN) and the International Anti-counterfeiting Coalition (IACC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that allows both organizations to closely collaborate on intellectual property enforcement initiatives and programs.

CACN and IACC share a commitment to promoting the protection of intellectual property and the safety of consumers through programs that support the prevention of product counterfeiting, fraud and copyright piracy. The MOU enhances the ability for both organizations to provide mutual assistance in the communication, cooperation and sharing of information and resources to support these objectives. CACN and IACC members, customs and law enforcement agencies, and government agencies from both sides of the border will gain increased access to training program options and other key resources.
