Hammond Power Solutions Expands in Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon, Mexico with New Manufacturing Plant

Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) is proud to announce the expansion of its manufacturing capabilities in Mexico with the opening of a fourth plant in Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon.

This significant investment underscores HPS’s unwavering commitment in Mexico as a strategic location, while strengthening its production capacity and enhancing local economic growth.

HPS has been manufacturing in Mexico since 2001, steadily expanding its presence and capabilities. The addition of this new plant marks a milestone in HPS’s journey, bringing the total number of facilities in Mexico to four, encompassing over 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space. This expansion not only enhances HPS’s production capacity, but also strengthens it’s ability to meet growing demand for the company’s products in North America.

“Launching our fourth plant in Guadalupe, greatly enhances our capacity and flexibility for our North American customers. This move reaffirms our commitment to delivering top-quality, reliable power solutions and addressing the increasing demand in the region,” stated David Kinsella, Chief Commercial Officer of Hammond Power Solutions.

HPS’s newest manufacturing facility in Guadalupe will employ roughly 400 people and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and designed to optimize production efficiency and product quality. The plant will play a crucial role in supporting HPS’s mission to deliver reliable, high-quality power solutions that contribute to the electrification and sustainability of the world.

Since 2020, HPS has also significantly increased its sales presence in Mexico, establishing a distribution channel to better serve the company’s customers in the region. This strategic initiative has enabled HPS to provide more responsive service and support, further solidifying its position as a leader in the electrical and electronic industries in Mexico.
