Valard Construction Restructures For Growth

Canadian powerline contractor Valard has implemented a new organizational structure as a means of achieving operational efficiencies. Changes of note: 

1. Adam Budzinski now hold the following titles/responsibilities — President, the Valard Group of Companies and President, Quanta Electric and Power Operations Canada

2. Barkley Adams, Chief Operating Officer, now oversees all Valard and sister company employees that are involved in foundations, substations, transmission, engineering, procurement, survey, corporate controls, quality, fleet, environment, energized services, and ROW

3. Steve Sousa, Chief Commercial Officer, now oversees tenders, estimating, project development, corporate communications, indigenous relations, corporate planning, mergers and acquisitions, and contracts; he also has responsibility for the Telecom group and for business development

The reorganization is intended to

• support and allow for real time business decisions 

• focus on greater alignment of resources and executive oversight 

• offer best in class customer management
