Recently, Stelpro was proud to announce that it has once again qualified as a Canada’s Best Managed Companies Platinum Club member. This year’s Best Managed winners represent the elite group of Canadian-owned and managed companies with revenues over $25 million that have demonstrated leadership in strategy, capabilities and innovation, culture and commitment, and finances to achieve sustainable growth.

“Stelpro has continued its strong growth over the past year, despite supply issues, labour shortages, and other factors that continue to present challenges. Our teams have worked hard to overcome these obstacles, while rolling out new initiatives to support the company’s strategic growth,” says Yves Chabot, President of Stelpro. “After celebrating our 40th anniversary in 2021, we’ve continued consolidating our position as a leader in electric heating and are resolutely positioning ourselves in the smart home and energy transition sectors.”

Last August, the company launched Allia, its newest smart home solution designed and manufactured in Quebec, which offers new opportunities for integrating electric heating control into a global ecosystem. In the coming months, Stelpro will also be announcing new developments for this ecosystem, as well as new product lines, which will move the company into of new market niches.

Stelpro is working on several fronts to meet the ever-increasing demand for its products for the benefit of its partners. It is in the final phase of a $24 million strategic investment plan, which includes a major investment in automation and robotization to increase manufacturing efficiency at its Saint-Bruno plant. Stelpro is also setting up a joint venture production unit in Mexico to address persistent labour shortages in Quebec. More recently, it also announced the acquisition of Métal BF, a custom metal parts manufacturing company located in Terrebonne, which will increase its production capacity.

The cornerstone of Stelpro’s sustained development is the continuous development of its employee experience. Stelpro strives to be an employer of choice, offering a balance between a stimulating work environment and an excellent quality of life in a human-scale environment. “Stelpro’s achievements are the direct result of the contribution of our comfort creators, and our qualification as a Best Managed Company is a great recognition of their dedication,” says Yves Chabot.

Stelpro is firmly committed to continuing its expansion and meeting the challenges of the future to maintain its leadership position. To this end, it will continue to rely on innovation and its employees, as well as on the strong and lasting relationships it has with its partners and customers.
