Siemens Canada Appoints Faisal Kazi as President & CEO

Siemens Canada has appointed Faisal Kazi as President & CEO of Siemens Canada Limited, effective September 1, 2017. Mr. Kazi replaces former President  & CEO and current Chair of Siemens Canada Robert Hardt, who departed the company in June 2017 to take on the role of Catalyst Partner at next47, Siemens’ separate unit for start-ups established in 2016.

As President and CEO, Mr. Kazi will be responsible for leading the overall strategic direction of the company.

Mr. Kazi joined Siemens in 1991 and has worked in various areas of the business in the Netherlands, Germany, and the United States. Prior to his appointment as President & CEO, he was Senior Vice President responsible for the Energy Management division in Canada and acted as the regional and sales head of the Transformers business in North and South America. In this role Mr. Kazi led major energy projects in Alberta, Manitoba and New Brunswick. 

Mr. Kazi is a passionate champion of Siemens Canada’s corporate social responsibility programs, including the annual fundraising campaign for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
