Shawflex Participates in Their 2nd Habitat Build Day

Earlier this month, Team Shawflex collaborated with Habitat for Humanity Canada for our second annual Habitat Build Day.

This was a great opportunity for us to volunteer in the #GreyBruceRegion to directly support one of our key customers in the area – Bruce Power. Our volunteer team of 21 determined employees contributed to building homes, which will be provided to member families of the Saugeen First Nation community.

For those who are not familiar, Habitat for Humanity is a global organization who specializes in building homes across the globe to create affordable home ownership models to bridge the gap for low income, working families. With the help of volunteers, donors and Habitat homeowners, local Habitats in every province and territory across Canada help build and rehabilitate decent and affordable homes, from single-family houses to multi-unit developments.

A big thank you to the entire Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce team for hosting another wonderful build day for our team, and to our volunteers for their hard efforts and taking the time to join this important day to support the Grey Bruce community.
