George McClean, former President of Sonepar Canada, has decided to leave Sonepar for an opportunity outside of the electrical industry. Serge Leblanc, current President of Lumen Canada, has been appointed interim President of Sonepar Canada. Leblanc will manage both responsibilities until a successor is named.

Serge Leblanc joined Lumen in 1997 and has over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry. He was appointed President of Lumen in October 2011.  Leblanc brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of innovative leadership. Under his leadership, Lumen has consistently remained one of Sonepar’s highest performing companies.

“We are happy to see Serge take on this interim role and look forward to the contributions he will bring to Sonepar Canada,” said Rob Taylor, President of Sonepar Americas.
