SATCO Welcomes Janet Cecchettini as Director of Education

SATCO Products, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Janet Cecchettini, LC, MIES, as Director of Education.

A Lighting Certified (LC) professional, Cecchettini is known for designing and delivering impactful learning programs for the lighting industry. She is passionate about just-in-time education that supports knowledge retention and professional growth—ranging from foundational training for industry newcomers to product application, energy code compliance, and emerging lighting science and design trends for continuing education.

Most recently, Cecchettini served as Senior Manager of Lighting and Lighting Controls Education at Acuity Brands, where she modernized curriculum strategy and led national learning initiatives for partners and customers across multiple channels.

She brings more than four decades of experience in training and education, applications engineering, sales, and project management. Her career spans roles with lighting manufacturers, agencies, and electrical distributors, giving her a broad, inclusive perspective on the industry.

In her role at SATCO, Cecchettini will focus on equipping partners, customers, and end users with the knowledge to confidently analyze, select, and deploy lighting products—from replacement lamps to sophisticated luminaire and network lighting control systems.
