Pepperl+Fuchs Honored with Bosch Global Supplier Award

Awards ceremony on July 10, 2019 near Blaichach, Germany, Pepperl+Fuchs was honored in the “Indirect Purchasing” category. Every two years, Robert Bosch GmbH honors the best of its 43,000 suppliers with this award. During the ceremony, a jury evaluates the suppliers in the categories of indirect purchasing, raw materials, and components per division. Suppliers can also submit their products, processes, or technologies with high innovation potential for Bosch in a special category for an award.

Bosch has honored its suppliers since 1987, and the awardis well known in industry circles. “Today, our suppliers are more than just parts suppliers. They are also development and innovation partners who contribute to Bosch’s competitiveness,” says Andreas Reutter, Head of Supply Chain Management at Robert Bosch GmbH.

Valuable milestone and motivation for the future

Accordingly, Pepperl+Fuchs was once again able to demonstrate its focus on the development of Industry 4.0 capable, innovative solutions on the technological level: in future oriented projects like Automated Valet Parking or by providing sensors for the Active Shuttle, Pepperl+Fuchs distinguished themselves through their dedicated and professional commitment. Furthermore, the team performed well in handling day-to-day business and maintaining a presence in the plants.
