IDEAL Networks has appointed Mike Grindele as new Vice President of Sales for North America.

Grindele, who resides in Dallas, Texas, began his career in IT with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in the 1990s, when LAN network testing was in its infancy, before moving to a role at a Manufacturer Sales Representative, selling network test equipment and providing support directly to customers. He then spent more than 19 years with Fluke Networks, leading the Sales & Operations teams as Area Vice President, North America.

“Mike brings a huge amount of Industry experience that we are confident will benefit our business and customers alike,” says Paul Walsh, Chief Executive Officer for IDEAL Networks. “IDEAL Networks has introduced highly innovative products in recent years, leading to ongoing growth in North America. We anticipate this growth to continue and accelerate with Mike’s leadership.”

“My expectation is for North America to become the leading region for IDEAL Networks globally,” explains Mike Grindele. “But more importantly, I want to put the customer first – working with the team to ensure that customers get the tools they need, from a company that they genuinely want to do business with.”Mike Grindele IDEAL Networks

Grindele will lead a highly experienced Sales team to cater to customers across North America. IDEAL Networks also has a dedicated US facility which includes a warehouse and distribution centre to facilitate the same day dispatch of data cable and network tester orders for US-based customers. These customers receive exceptional technical support, calibration, warranty repairs, and customer service from the IDEAL Networks team.

“I’m thrilled to be joining IDEAL Networks at such an exciting time, with a significant product launch due by the end of the year,” says Mike. “Though Covid-19 presents ongoing challenges, the team is still dedicated to delivering superior alternatives that enable technicians and installers to change the way they work for the better.”

Customers can continue to access products via the network of trusted IDEAL Networks distributors. This includes copper and fibre network test equipment such as the recently launched LanTEK IV cable certifier, PoE Pro tester and NaviTEK IE PROFINET tester.
