Murray Chamney to Retire from Intralec

Murray Chamney, President, Intralec Electrical Products Ltd., has announced his retirement, effective February 28, 2019. Chamney has been the managing partner at Intralec since November 1999. 

Chamney began his tenure at Intralec in June 1980. His industry associations include President of NEMRA (1999), Director of NEMRA (2000-2001), and Chair of Electro-Federation Canada’s National Advisory Council in 2016. He was the first manufacturer’s representative to become Council Chair. Chamney was awarded the CEMRA person of the year in 2011, and the NEMRA GEM award in 2013.

Intralec has announced its’ managing partners, going forward. Cindy Doherty assumed the role of president, effective December 1, 2018. She is partnered with Greg Moylett, VP Distribution Sales, and John Hadley, VP Project Sales. Chamney will remain in an advisory role until February.

Intralec Electrical Products is a manufacturer’s representative operating in southern and central Ontario. It was founded in 1977, and has grown to become one of the largest full service rep firms in the country.
