Sonepar proudly marked the first anniversary of its acquisition of Electrozad, April 1, 2024.

Headquartered in Windsor Ontario, with additional branches in London, Sarnia, and Chatham, Electrozad has earned a substantial reputation for delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong relationships. This well-established legacy of excellence perfectly aligns with Sonepar’s strategy, values and vision.

Electrozad was one of 17 acquisitions completed by Sonepar globally in 2024, representing a key milestone in Sonepar’s strategic growth. This partnership brings new opportunities to deliver even greater value to customers—both current and future. Continued investments in distribution centers and advanced digital tools will further support Electrozad’s ongoing success and innovation.

Moreover, Electrozad strengthens Sonepar’s partnerships with industry leaders Siemens and Rockwell Automation. The acquisition also represents a significant step toward expanding Sonepar’s presence in Southwestern Ontario and enhancing its presence along the vital Quebec City–Windsor Corridor.

Electrozad Vice President of Sales & Operations, James Taylor states, “In our first year with Sonepar, we have made good progress with improving our customer experience even further. We have made initial investments to optimize warehousing and logistics. Greater access to inventory has enabled us to meet the evolving needs of the market. Our associates have benefited from enhanced health and safety programs, and we’ve recently introduced new tools for career development.”
