Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) Honours Members for Lifetime Achievement, Excellence

 MONTREAL – Four recipients received awards at this year’s Electrical Council’s (EC) annual conference. 

Two Lifetime Honorary Awards were presented during an evening gala that saw over 500 industry leaders in attendance. Richard Ferguson of Nedco was awarded the Lifetime Honorary Distributor Award by Kevin Mallory, Hubbell Canada LP, and Ernie Reynolds from ShawCor received the Lifetime Honorary Manufacturer Award by Greg Passler, ShawFlex.

The Canadian Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (CEMRA) Award, presented by Jean-Sébastien Bercier, Desdowd Inc. and Chair of CEMRA, went to 

Bruce Dean, Arlington Industries Inc. 

“Our industry has a strong legacy of leaders that have contributed to their organizations and the entire sector. The 2014 recipients continue this tradition and our association and members are pleased to honour these individuals,” summed up Rick McCarten, Vice President, Electrical Council.

In addition, Rexel Electrical Inc. received the National Association of Electrical Distributors/Electrical Council Education Excellence Award. This was accepted by Roger Little, CEO at Rexel and was presented by John Sencich, EC Chair, 2013/2014, Thomas & Betts.
