The Industry Data Exchange Association, Inc. (IDEA) announces its 2021 Board of Directors. Brian DiBella, a seasoned electrical industry leader, will serve as the Board Chair for the coming year.

“Brian’s collaborative leadership and his ability to drive priorities for the industry will continue to help IDEA with its long-term roadmap,” said David Oldfather, President and CEO of IDEA. “As we continue to navigate these unprecedented times, we will be focused on facilitating the exchange of complete, high-quality content and serving as the standards body for the electrical industry.

DiBella, president of Electrical Wiring Systems at Legrand North America, brings technology experience from previously serving as Legrand’s Chief Information Officer, responsible for its Global Data Network. He also oversaw the execution strategy for Wiremold before becoming president.

The 2021 Board of Directors will continue to advise IDEA on its mission to facilitate the exchange of complete, high-quality, commercial grade transactional and eCommerce content for the electrical industry. IDEA’s upcoming initiatives include increasing product content quantity, improving data quality, simplifying data management and reporting, and setting, facilitating, and monitoring data standards.

With so many opportunities ahead to create greater supply chain efficiencies, I’m excited to be a part of the continued progress made by IDEA.”
