Sept 4, 2018

EFC has launched a new information portal to provide consumers with a general overview about the importance of arc-fault safety measures.

Developed in partnership with EFC’s Distribution Equipment and Wiring Product Sections, the portal features important information about fires caused by electrical loss as well as useful resources to help homeowners understand the types of AFCI technologies available, Canadian code requirements, and the causes of arc-fault tripping.

EFC members are encouraged to share this online portal with customers and partners to help increase general awareness among Canadian homeowners.
