Happy to share the CEMRA Executive leadership changes confirmed during the CEMRA Annual Meeting.

A sincere thank you to Dave Le Cappelain, MBA, LC, CEM, K. M. Roberts & Associates Ltd., for his remarkable leadership as Chair of the CEMRA Executive (2023-2025). Reflecting on his term, Dave shared:

“CEMRA is the hub of the electrical manufacturer representative community in Canada, and it has been an honour to serve as chair for the past 2 years. In that time, membership is at a record high with 67 agencies as CEMRA members. I am proud of the work that CEMRA did for the initiatives over the past two years to bring value to the rep community in Canada and am looking forward to seeing where Jason can lead it in the next two years.”

Congratulations to Jason Thor, TMC Sales Inc as he steps into the Chair role for 2025-2027. Jason bring deep expertise and a bold vision for the future. In his own words:

“Two key strategies I am looking to bring to the Chair position for my upcoming term are increase member engagement, and increase the amount of Electrical Business that flows through the rep model in Canada. There is still a large discrepancy between us and our counterparts in the USA”

We’re also thrilled to welcome Chris Maguire, Cascadia Sales, as Vice-Chair of the CEMRA Executive. Chris’s forward-thinking leadership will help strengthen member connections and guide CEMRA through future-ready initiatives. On the value of CEMRA, Chris shared:

“Independent manufacturer rep firms substantially benefit from CEMRA membership and involvement by sharing mutual goals and best practices, resolving industry challenges, and becoming part of a collective voice in the electrical industry.”

The next chapter of CEMRA leadership is here – and it’s full of energy, purpose, and momentum. Let’s build what’s next, together.

The CEMRA Executive will work closely with the CEMRA Board of Directors, which is represented by senior rep principals across Canada, as well as CEMRA Team Lead, Nathalie Lajoie, and EFC Team Lead, Carol McGlogan.
