Eaton has announced that Matt Cleary, vice president, Channel – Electrical Sector, has elected to retire in early September, after nearly four decades with the company. Will Green has been named vice president, Channel – Electrical Sector, and will report to Molly Murphy, senior vice president – North American Sales.

“Throughout his career, Matt demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication to our customers that has helped make Eaton an incredibly strong partner for our channel,” said Murphy. “He has been an invaluable member of the Eaton team, and for the past year, he has been working closely with Will Green to enable a seamless transition for our channel partners. I wish Matt the best in his next adventure, and I know Will’s background and customer focus will position him well for his new role.”

Cleary joined Eaton in 1981 as a sales engineer, and among his many roles, he was a sales integration leader for Eaton’s Cooper Industries acquisition. He has served on the National Electrical Manufacturers Representative Association (NEMRA) Board of Directors since 2018.

Will Green has been Eaton’s vice president, U.S. Channel Operations and U.S. Sales, North American Sales. In his new role as vice president, Channel – Electrical Sector, effective September 1, 2020, Green will be responsible for leading Eaton’s operations and teams supporting electrical distributors and other channel partners.
