City Electric Supply Ottawa East Branch Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Community Event and Fundraiser

On Thursday, July 11th, the City Electric Ottawa East branch marked a significant milestone: 25 years of dedicated service to the Ottawa community.
Located at 740 Belfast Rd Unit B, Ottawa, ON K1G 0Z5, the branch celebrated this momentous occasion with a lively and engaging event that brought together customers, vendors, and community members.
The anniversary celebration featured a fun day event at the branch, where attendees enjoyed a delicious free lunch catered by the renowned Meatings BBQ. The event was packed with exciting prizes and one-day deals, offering customers the chance to take advantage of special savings. The day also included fundraising activities in support of Make-A-Wish Canada, a cause close to the heart of the company. Through the generosity of attendees, approximately $1,300 was raised to help grant wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses.
Despite the rainy weather, the spirit of celebration was not dampened. Brooke Merkley, the branch manager, expressed his gratitude for the strong turnout and support: “Even in the rain and bad weather, we still had lots of customers come help us celebrate 25 years 25 years of serving our community. It was really awesome to have so many vendors come together to help us make this day even better.”

Customers and vendors alike came out in force, demonstrating the strong sense of community that has been a cornerstone of the branch’s operations.
