City Electric Supply Raises Over $10,000 For Make-A-Wish Canada at Third Annual Golf Tournament

July 26, 2024

City Electric Supply (CES) proudly announces the success of its third annual fundraising golf tournament. Held on May 24th at Sunset Ranch Golf & Country Club in Kelowna, the event brought together community members, local electrical companies, customers, vendors, and employees from CES BC Interior District branches including Kelowna, West Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon, and Salmon Arm. Together, they surpassed their fundraising goal, raising over $10,000 for Make-A-Wish Canada. The final donation numbers were confirmed last week.

Hosted by the CES BC Interior District, the tournament featured friendly competition, a substantial prize table, and a delightful sit-down meal, creating a memorable experience for all 140 participants. District Manager James Cookson expressed his gratitude, saying, “It was inspiring and humbling to have a sold-out event in just our third year and surpass our fundraising goal of $10,000 for a second year in a row. The continued success of this tournament is a great testament to the local electrical contractor community and their willingness to step up to give back and help CES raise significant funds for such a great charity.”

With branches throughout the Okanagan, CES is dedicated to supporting the local community and actively participates in fundraising events. The success of this event highlights the company’s commitment to making a difference and the growing support for Make-A-Wish Canada.
