OmniCable Introduces New Chief Information Officer

OmniCable is proud to announce the hire of Priya Serai to OmniCable as the Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role, Serai will oversee the company’s IT Department and provide vision, leadership, strategic execution, and oversight for information technology throughout all functions of the business and across all locations. “OmniCable has been a premier distributor in the electrical products industry for decades. The company’s focus on technology transformation and innovation in their business plans attracted me to this role,” said Priya. “My expertise in e-commerce and providing innovative solutions for stellar customer experience will help further distribution.” 

Priya brings over 15 years of information technology and business experience. “She has a history of success in creating and implementing strategies for business applications and leading cross-functional, global teams in delivering complex projects and process improvements,” said Greg Lampert, OmniCable’s President & CEO. “We are confident that her extensive skills and background will enable us to accelerate the use of technology in all aspects of our business,” he added. 

Prior to joining OmniCable, Priya was the Director of Technology for SEI Investments located in Pennsylvania, where she led the technology department to deliver client-focused solutions. Before SEI Investments, she was the Director of Enterprise Applications and Program Management at Belcan located in Ohio, where she partnered with business executives to provide technology solutions for customer-facing needs and internal operations. Priya also just completed her MBA at the Wharton School located in Pennsylvania while working full-time at SEI.
