Role:  General Manager, Ontario Division

Location: Mississauga, ON

Status: Permanent/Full-time

Westburne is the Canadian market leader in electrical distribution. We are looking for a dynamic leader for our 300-person, 48-location Ontario division. Responsible for all aspects of the division, the General Manager directs recruiting and developing talent, shapes strategic direction, drives sales and market share, and manages the P&L. In this role, you will also develop and maintain relationships with our key vendors and customers, and interact effectively with internal stakeholders.

  • • Proven success in a similar capacity.
  • • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inspire.
  • • A track record of execution and sales success.
  • • The capacity to define vision and strategy, while remaining goal and execution-oriented.
  • • Experience mentoring and managing high performances sales teams.
  • • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and time-management skills.
  • • The ability to coach a high-performance team and sustain a winning culture.
  • • Extensive knowledge of the Canadian electrical/construction or MRO industry is an asset.
  • • Relevant post-secondary education (or equivalent work experience.)
