Southwire Canada Relocates Corporate Office, Hosts Grand Opening

April 11, 2024

On Thursday, March 28, Southwire celebrated the relocation of its Canadian corporate office in Mississauga, Ontario.

The roughly 7,000 square-foot office in Mississauga aligns with evolving workplace dynamics and is a forward-thinking response to flexible work.

“I’m proud of Southwire’s new office, as it embodies our commitment to being an employer of choice,” said Tim King, president of Southwire Canada. “The new office offers an innovative and flexible workspace that is designed to foster collaboration among our team members.”

Southwire Canada is committed to innovation and sustainability, not only in its products but also in its workplace practices. The transition to a smaller office space underscores its belief in the efficiency and effectiveness of hybrid work models. This model supports team members’ desire for flexibility, balancing work with in-office collaboration and further enhances operational sustainability by reducing the need for large office spaces.

Nestled in the heart of Mississauga, the new corporate office location offers a modern and technologically equipped workspace designed to foster collaboration, creativity and productivity. It reflects its commitment to providing team members with a healthy and stimulating work environment, whether they are working on-site or remotely. The choice of location also emphasizes Southwire Canada’s ongoing commitment to the Mississauga community, where it has operated and contributed to for many years.

“Aligning with Southwire’s commitment to modernization and sustainability, our new Mississauga office is a modern hub for hybrid work,” said Maria Sial, communications and digital strategy manager. “It’s designed for efficiency and sustainability, enhancing our industry leadership.”
