Sonepar Canada Lights Up the Night with a Spectacular Kickoff at the EFC Conference

June 16, 2025

The energy at Sonepar Canada’s vendor event was electric.

The 2025 EFC Conference roared to life as Sonepar Canada welcomed over 130 representatives from key vendor and agent partners, alongside its Executive Leadership Team and members of Sonepar from across the country, for a night dedicated to True Partnership.

Guests were treated to a memorable evening packed with Canadian flair, from a mouthwatering poutine station and legendary Montreal smoked meat to succulent scallops—all perfectly paired with signature blue Sonepar cocktails. With Canadian-themed music filling the air, it was an exceptional night of camaraderie and celebration.

Interim President Serge Leblanc took a moment to reflect on Sonepar’s incredible journey—its history, global presence, and ambitious Strategy Road Map for 2025. The event also served as the introduction of the Executive Leadership Team, along with the announcement of Rob Thibeault’s promotion to President of Robertson.

Addressing the crowd, Serge underscored the key to Sonepar’s achievements, stating “Sonepar’s success is our people and when our team comes together with our partners to celebrate relationships, when we are invested in each others success – that is True Partnership, and this is how we can continue to grow.”

This milestone celebration marked Sonepar’s first vendor event at EFC, providing a rare and valuable opportunity for deep conversations and powerful networking ahead of the three-day conference in Niagara Falls.

Sonepar Canada extends deepest gratitude to all vendors and agents who joined this spectacular evening and to the Electro Federation of Canada for making it possible.
