Service Wire Company Hires Rich McCathren as National Sales Engineer

Rich McCathren has joined Service Wire as National Sales Engineer and will be based in the Houston office.

McCathren will be responsible for positioning Service Wire for growth with key industrial and utility customers.

When asked how McCathren will add value to the sales team, Mark Gatewood, VP of Sales and Marketing said, “Rich brings a great deal of industry experience and expertise to the role. He will help us drive product and service solutions across both the industrial and utility markets moving forward.”

Rich McCathren has over 30 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and utility markets. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University/College of Engineering.

When asked about his expectations with the company, McCathren said, “I am excited to join an industry leader which has placed such a high standard for product quality, customer service, and innovation for over five decades. I look forward to facilitating customer successes with Service Wire solutions.”

Since joining Service Wire, McCathren has been extensively trained and certified on the company’s products, capabilities, and quality systems.
