Scott Thon Back as AltaLink President and CEO

 Effective March 1, Scott Thon returned to AltaLink as President and CEO from a secondment at SNC-Lavalin as Executive Vice President, Global Power. “2014 is shaping up to be an exciting year as we invest more than $1 billion into the transmission system,” says Thon. Dennis Frehlich, AltaLink’s interim President and CEO during Thon’s absence, will return to his previous position as Executive Vice President and COO.

An active member of the Canadian Electricity Association, Thon serves on its board of directors and management board. He is also a member on the board of Candu Energy and a director on the Alberta Blue Cross board.
