Schneider Electric Announces New Canadian Country President

Juan Macias

 

Schneider Electric has announced that Juan Macias has been named Canada Country President, reporting to Laurent Vernerey, President & CEO, North America. 

Juan comes to Schneider Electric from General Electric (GE), where he spent the last decade in leadership roles in Electrical Construction Products and Digital Energy Management. Prior to GE, Juan spent 15 years at ABB Inc. in sales and management across a broad spectrum of products and solutions in power transmission and distribution. 

Juan holds a B.S. Degree in industrial engineering from New Mexico State University and an MBA from Rollins College in Florida. 

In his role as Country President, Juan will continue to elevate Schneider Electric’s presence in Canada as a leader in energy management and automation solutions.

Daniel Péloquin, whom Juan replaces, has moved to an advisory role with Schneider Electric Canada and will continue to represent Schneider Electric’s views on Energy Efficiency, Sustainability, Smart Cities, Corporate Social Responsibility, and more at conferences across North America.
