Nexans is one of the largest wire and cable companies in the world. Our cables are in the CN Tower, Maritime Link enabling Nova Scotia to import renewable energy from Newfoundland as well as maybe the car you are driving or the airplane that took you to your last vacation destination.

A Part of Canada

Starting as Canada Wire and Cable in 1911, Nexans has proudly contributed to the building and growth of Canada. We have been involved in many of the most ambitious projects in this country; from dams, bridges, energy transmission and distribution to railway and transportation. Our products are manufactured in Quebec, Ontario and Saskatchewan.

Leadership and Customer Value

Now is the time for Nexans to write its next chapter in Canada. My mandate as General Manager of Nexans Canada is to make Nexans the preferred service and solutions cable supplier in the country. Our customers are our distribution partners and we rely on them to provide our products to national, regional and local electrical contractors as well as to fulfill large projects. To ensure our customer success, my commitments are a renewed focus on three themes:

1. Reliability: Exceptional responsiveness to customer inquiries and meeting the expected delivery of product orders on time and in full (OTIF).

2. Competitiveness: Of our products, solutions and services, but also our overall lead times from quote to shipment.

3. Innovation: New services, solutions and packaging to help make the installation of Nexans cables by electricians easier and faster. Innovation is our ambition to make sure to offer the best experience to the people who trust us every day by buying and using our products.

Our People and commitment to grow

Our commercial success is because of our people. A talented and dedicated group—some of whom have been employed for us for more than 40 years. I have also been reinforcing our team, with the appointments of Derrick Brown as VP Sales, Jules Baillet as Marketing Director and Christophe Jollivet as VP Projects. They are supported by a strong team and their objective is to build the new Nexans in Canada, focusing on our three themes of competitiveness, reliability and innovation.

I am excited about the opportunity that we have in Canada and to further build our brand reputation and partnerships with our key customers and industry players.
