April 30, 2026

Mac’s II Agencies shared the passing of their co-founder, John McFadyen at the age of 96.

LinkedIn post from Mac’s II Agencies:

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of John McFadyen at 96 years of age — a co-founder of Mac’s II Agencies, and a true pillar of our industry.

John helped shape not only this company, but the relationships, values, and sense of community that continue to define it today. Known for his warmth, quick wit, and ever-present smile, he left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of working with him.

His impact extends far beyond business. For many, John was a mentor, a colleague, and a friend — someone who made the industry feel a little more personal, a little more connected.

We’re grateful for the foundation he built and the legacy he leaves behind. He will be remembered fondly and missed deeply.

Our thoughts are with his family and all who knew him.

— The Mac’s II Agencies Team
