IPEX Celebrates 2023 ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) Achievements

Recently, IPEX was pleased to release it’s inaugural Impact Report that focuses on the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) achievements. This new report provides highlights and insight into IPEX’s 2023 initiatives around people, community and the environment.

IPEX’s dedication to environmental stewardship, social responsibility and strong governance practices have always been deeply rooted in it’s values. Now, for the first time, this report brings together a range of ESG achievements into a cohesive report and provides a comprehensive overview of IPEX’s 2023 ESG actions and progress.

We recognize our 2023 ESG achievements as a continuation of our sustainability journey. Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to setting ambitious targets and sharing progress on our goals.”

Key highlights from the FY2023 Impact Report include:

  • Women account for 25% of IPEX’s senior leader roles.
  • In the 2023 global employee engagement survey, 88% of employees would recommend IPEX as a good place to work.
  • IPEX officially launched it’s new community investment and social impact program, iCare, dedicated to making a positive influence on the communities in which it’s employees work and live.
  • Since 2022, IPEX’s Reportable Injury Rate (RIR) has decreased by ~60 per cent
  • All IPEX Quebec facilities are 100% powered by renewable electricity, certified through Hydro Quebec’s Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) program.
