IDEAL Electrical in Canada Celebrates 25 years of Can-Twist Wire Connectors with a National Customer Experience Trip

The Can-Twist 25th Anniversary Experience Trip brought together promotion winners from across Canada for three days of product learning, community impact, and memorable customer appreciation experiences.
From August 11–13, 2026, IDEAL Electrical Canada welcomed the winners of the Can-Twist 25th Anniversary Promotion for a three-day experience celebrating customers, Canadian manufacturing, and 25 years of Can-Twist wire connectors.
To enter, customers purchased specially marked packages of IDEAL Can-Twist wire connectors between April and June 2026, scanned the QR codes found inside, and submitted their entries for a chance to win. Winners were selected at random and invited to take part in the IDEAL Experience Trip.
Winners from British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario gathered at IDEAL Electrical Canada’s head office and manufacturing facility in Ajax, Ontario, to kick off the trip. The group met with IDEAL staff, participated in hands-on product training and demonstrations, and toured the manufacturing facility to see first-hand where Can-Twist wire connectors are made. The visit also highlighted IDEAL Canada’s celebration of 25 years of Can-Twist®, a trusted choice of wire connectors for Canadian electricians.
On Day 2, the group took part in a Habitat for Humanity event in Brampton, Ontario, where the winners put their electrical experience to work in support of the community. After a meaningful day of giving back, the winners were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Toronto Porsche Drive Centre, where they spent more than 90 minutes on the track with a professional driver. It was a memorable final day and an experience they will not soon forget.
The Can-Twist 25th Anniversary Experience Trip was a memorable celebration of IDEAL Electrical Canada’s customers, Canadian-made products, and the strong relationships that continue to make IDEAL a trusted partner for electricians across the country.
