EFC Seeking Dynamic and Innovative Members and YPN’s to Join Various Committees

EFC has several openings on various committees for members and YPN’s who are seeking to take a leadership role to help move the electrical industry forward.

For all interested candidates, a discussion with the Chair and team lead for each of the following committees would take place prior to approval. If there is more than one nomination, then a vote would be required from the respective committees.

All nominations are due November 1, 2021.

Current committee vacancies include:

CEMRA Board – National per Regions

Looking for CEMRA agents in the following regions, who would like to take a lead role in their region while focusing on CEMRA overall objectives:

  • Atlantic
  • Alberta
  • Manitoba

CEMRA Shadow/Succession Committee – National per Regions

Looking for CEMRA agents who have not participated in any CEMRA board, or executive committees, but are very interested in learning more, and participating.

This new committee is looking at possible the next set of members to be engaged at the Succession level and with the potential opportunity to move up to the CEMRA Board level and executive.

Requirement is one per region:

  • Atlantic
  • Quebec
  • Ontario
  • Manitoba
  • Saskatchewan
  • Alberta
  • British Columbia

Women’s Network – Ontario Region

The Ontario Region is looking for a Vice Chair to commence their term as of May 2022 for two years.

Ideally looking from the current Ontario Region Women’s Network committee. The Vice Chair and Chair, together with the committee develop educational and networking events for Women in the Industry, along with other members as well.

Ontario Region Committee

EFC is looking for 2-3 CEMRA Reps from Ontario to participate on the Ontario Region Board Committee. The term will start in February 2022 for a minimum of 2 years.

Quarterly meetings are held and several educational and networking events are planned with the committee.

CMG-CEMRA Manufacturers’ Group – National

This national group is looking for a Vice Chair, who is currently part of the CMG committee, and is a manufacturer.

This networking group focuses on partnerships between Manufacturers and Reps across Canada.

EFC Golf Committee – Ontario

We are accepting names for the EFC Golf Committee 2nd Vice Chair position, commencing this year, until August 2022, then will move up to Vice Chair.

This group plans the EFC Federation Cup Golf Tournament, and primarily focusses on member sponsorship, event promotion in the industry, and silent auction donations.
