Eaton a top employer

In other company news, the firm has been recognized as a top employer for young people in Canada by the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. Now in its 12th year, Canada’s Top Employers for Young People is an editorial project that recognizes the nation’s leaders when it comes to attracting and retaining younger workers.

The project cited Eaton’s rotational leadership development program, support of continuing education, scholarship opportunities for children of employees and other employee benefits as the reason for its selection. “Innovation and adaptability don’t exist in a vacuum,” says Richard Yerema, Managing Editor of Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. “Employers that make it easier for young people to thrive in their careers, it turns out, also make their organizational DNA more resilient and able to adapt faster to change.”

According to John Iannuzzi, Division Human Resources Manager for Eaton in Canada, “we recognize that our people are our most valuable resource. We’re honoured to be recognized as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People.”
