Announcement: Retirement of Dave Syer, VP Westburne Canada

Very recently, Westburne Canada put out an announcement that Dave Syer, their Vice President of Westburne Canada, will be retiring soon after eight remarkable years with Westburne and Rexel.

During his time with them, Dave Syer has played a pivotal role in driving profitable revenue and market share growth for Westburne. His leadership has not only contributed to the company’s business success but has also fostered a positive work culture that has resulted in strong engagement scores across its teams.

In addition to his contributions at Westburne, Dave has been actively involved in the Canadian electrical industry, holding leadership roles within Electro Federation Canada (EFC), including serving as the EFC National Advisory Chair.

Before joining Westburne, Dave spent many years at a key supplier, always making sure to keep the company’s partners’ interests in mind. His insights and experience have been incredibly valuable to their success.

As he prepares for this exciting new chapter, Dave looks forward to spending more time with his family. While the folks at Westburne will certainly miss his presence and leadership, they are pleased to share that he will remain with them for a while longer to ensure a smooth transition as the company appoints his successor.

In addition, Dave has some wonderful retirement plans, including sailing in the beautiful Caribbean and exploring the world. Westburne wishes him all the best in this new adventure and hopes he enjoys every moment of this well-deserved time off with his family and friends.
